On April 25, People’s Artist of Russia Svetlana S. Smirnova will
celebrate her jubilee. Svetlana Smirnova came to work to the Russian
Academy Pushkin Drama Theater in 1992; soon, she was acknowledged as
one of leading actresses in the company.

2009), the role of Maria Vasilievna Voinitskaya in the “Uncle Vanya” by
A.P. Chekhov (Director A. Shcherban, 2009), the role of Tiltil and
Mitil’s Babushka in “The Fortune” by A. Moguchy and K. Filippov
(Director Andrey Moguchy, 2011).
