On March 1, 2016, the installation exhibit “Nickolay Marton’s Lead Roles” will open at the St. Petersburg State Museum of Theater and Music Arts (2A Zodhy Rossi Str., Entrance from Ostrovsky Sq.) at 5 p.m. This light and ingenious exhibit project displays not only the creative biography and legendary stage images of the actor, beloved by several generations of theater goers, but also his meaningful role in the newest history of the Alexandrinsky Theater. The exhibit presents stage costumes, sketches, billboards, parts of stage sets, various properties, episodes from video records of actor’s performances from the funds of the Alexandrinsky Theater, and also materials from the collection of the Theater Museum and the St. Petersburg Archives of Literature and Arts. Nickolay Marton himself will provide the exhibit with a few unique portraits and sculptures.
The exhibit will be open till March 27, 2016.
